Hey! I really like the teleportation arrow, I found it really satisfying to play with (kind of like being Spiderman? It's cool.) I thought it would be weird not knowing where you'll land, but the shield it really helpful for that. As others have mentioned the enemies can spawn on you and you instantly die which is pretty frustrating since you can't avoid it, but aside from that it's fun to just go around teleporting and killing enemies. The game feels a bit aimless since usually in platformers you're trying to reach the ending, climb the top of the tower, etc. It's fine not to have an end zone in your game since the goal is to reach a high score, but if the enemies could get smarter or tougher over time players would feel more of a progression. Nicely done! :)

Yeah in all comments I can see that unfair enemies spawn was a total problem and the ambiguity of the goal hurt the gameplay.

I'm really proud of my arrow, it was something build fom scratch taking inspiration from the attack of Noctus in FFXV.

Thank you so much for Playing and Testing. I'm glad you like the feeling of the teleportation and of course, I'll work on those notes to take this core to another level :D

A very nice game, for a game-jam it has a lot of features.

The issues I found were :

The spawning is a bit of a problem. I know it can be quite hard to get a good spawner working, but maybe at least make it so that the enemies spawn outside of the camera view.

Also the bat enemy can go through walls/floors, but i think it would've been better to have it just track the player around said walls/floors.

The flying fire enemy can sometimes teleport into walls, and the ground enemies are kinda bugged,  they alwasy come to the wall left of the player spawn.

Also the players can get stuck to walls (which can be easily fixed actually, just make a phycics material with no friction and add it to the player rigidbody2d component)

The things that I liked:

The art is really good, everything tiles nicely, the lighting fits the theme of the game, you can easily distinguish the enemies from the background and the animations are very well done.

The music and sfx are also very nice.

It is a very nice game-jam game and i enjoyed playing it

Thank you! It was my very first Jam and I did everything I can do but a think left a lot of things untested, but sure I'm taking notes to take this idea to a full project :D

Hi such a great Art and Music,

but the Controls are realy of and i died like 3 times from, i dont even know from what.

One more thing maybe you should explain how the game works not the Controls but the Game i didnt understand it before the 4.th game

Cute art and nice music!

Jesus this is so bad its good.

The controls are awful, you don't know when or where an enemy will spawn, hitboxes are so broken I get hit while im a mile away from an enemy, the white enemies fall through blocks, and enemies still move even when they're dead making it unclear if I hit them or not.

It's really bad, but fun? If these things were addressed, I'm sure a great game would come out of this.

also spawn rates are broken. I just left the game idle for a bit and:

hahaha I love this, so many enemies!

Damn so broke! jajajaj sorry I didn't manage well The time and sleep to polish perfectly. Definitely going to work on this project already taking notes, thanks for playing :D

I'll be waiting!
